We process your public IP address to create a website-specific keyed hash for poll eligibility, comment reactions and abuse prevention. Vote records contain that identifier, your selected option and timing information; they do not require your name or email. The application stores the hash rather than the raw IP in these records. Hosting, network and security providers may process IP addresses and request information when delivering the site. A keyed hash is a pseudonymous identifier, not a guarantee of anonymity.

Your display name, comment, replies and reaction totals can be public; your email address is not displayed publicly. Comments passing automated checks may appear immediately and can be removed by administrators.
